How I got into writing!

Hi, everyone! Today I am going to share how I got interested in writing. Well, to be frank, I was always interested in it but I didn't know how to write a blog. I did open an account on bloggers to start writing a blog long back but never wrote anything because I would get stuck at the writing part. I would have some ideas about a topic but when I sat down to write, I'd get stuck before writing a line and start thinking about whether what I have written so far is good and the imposter syndrome would kick in and that was the end of it.

But, for the past six months, I have been quite active on Twitter, actually, that's the only place where I am active. What I observed on Twitter was, to gain followers or to have good engagement on my tweets, I should be good at writing, at least know what I am talking about. Being consistent with tweets will help so much, maybe not instantly but in time the rewards compound. Once I started using Twitter, I started to think about writing again, the right way. I did get some tweets out but I still knew I could get better at this.

I honestly don't know how or why I made a hashnode account but their email newsletter led me to this Bootcamp and for once, I was glad that I signed up for a newsletter. When I read the details of the Bootcamp, I was so excited to start learning and apply it. I thought maybe this will get me going with my writing journey. This is my first blog on Hashnode and hopefully one of many. I will try my best to be consistent in writing. Thank you Hashnode for this amazing Bootcamp.
